2016 is going to be my year. I have eleven glorious months of sabbatical ahead of me. UNISA actually calls it “Research and Development Leave”, but, hey, I belong to the old school.
This blog will keep a record of my activities for the year. Writing it up like this makes it a little more likely that I will actually be working rather than just playing on the computer. Yes, there’s a certain irony involved here.
By December 2016, this blog should reflect the research process of this particular humanities scholar. Should make a great PhD topic for somebody one day … just wait until I’m dead, OK?
